For maths we had to copy the pattern, on the slide go through the slide and you can see what i mean. What i enjoyed is having fun, copying the pattern on my math work. What do you like about my work.
Heres my blog
I am a Year 5 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My teacher is Miss McLeod. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post.
Hi Ethaniel,
ReplyDeleteFa'afetai for sharing your work that you have done in maths this week.
Go back and double check the slides. Remember you need to find out the rule for each pattern. As you can see in the first picture there is 2 yellow boxes, in the next one 4 yellow boxes, in the next one 6 yellow boxes and in the next one 8 yellow boxes. How many yellow boxes are they adding on each time? Now you need to draw the 5th lot of yellow boxes, how many boxes will you add on to the fourth pattern to make the fifth pattern?
I hope that helps! If not ask Mrs Jones to explain it on Monday.
I look forward to reading your next blog post. Keep up the great work!

Hi Ethaniel, you have done a great job recognising the patterns. Maybe next time you could add to the pattern instead of copying it. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
